Job Title Community Regeneration Worker (Maternity Cover) 2. Salary Grade: Scale Point: 21 -30 (Ѓ16,944-Ѓ21,993). Note: this job is subject to a career structure that will allow a candidate with less experience to enter the post at a lower scale (down to point 21). The career path is available to allow the candidate to accrue experience and submit this to support increments of remuneration and responsibility. There exists a progression bar at point 29.  3. Job Purpose To enable community groups, voluntary organisations and social enterprises throughout the City of Nottingham and County of Nottinghamshire to: identify local needs. identify priorities for action. initiate, participate fully and benefit directly from local regeneration initiatives. develop, expand and promote tanc’s work throughout the City and County.  4. Principle Duties and Responsibilities:Community Regeneration. Help to develop new and existing community regeneration initiatives. Work with communities and other partners (including local authorities etc) to identify local needs and priorities for action. Advise on regeneration resources available to groups locally and nationally. Business Planning and Finance. Support community groups in the successful development and management of their own projects. Negotiate and agree briefs and contracts with new groups. Provide business planning support for community organisations and social enterprises. Assist with fundraising for groups and also for tanc. Monitor client accounts as required. Information Communication Technology (ICT). Develop publicity where appropriate for projects and clear information for clients and others. Assist in developing appropriate ICT requirements within the organisation. Organisational duties. Produce reports for each completed project, in standard tanc format. Keep project files and documentation up to date and organised. Work as part of a team with paid and voluntary staff to ensure smooth running of tanc’s activities. Keep project co-ordinator and management committee informed of progress. Attend tanc meetings as required. Work to tight deadlines with little supervision Be excellent in time management with excellent attendance and time keeping Personal development and training. Undertake and provide training as appropriate. Mentor trainee staff in line with project activities. 5.
