Client - Newstead Miners Welfare

Under a very tight deadline, tanc liased with the stakeholders of this established miners' welfare, identified key points for action and presented a report for the perusal of decision makers.
Although the commission was limited to the provision of the business plan document, the organisation has requested that tanc return to continue its consultancy on how changes can be successfully progressed.
Youth Inclusion Project
Client - The Youth Inclusion Project
Area - St Anns, Nottingham
This is a new project for tanc, and although in its embryonic stages shows how tanc can engage with a variety of client groups.
St Anns Youth inclusion project caters for excluded local young people who are experiencing difficulty in various aspects of life. Difficulties encountered can relate to drug use /abuse, crime, and antisocial behaviour. In partnership with the Chase Action Group, The St Anns Youth Inclusion project, and the young people themselves, tanc is assisting a group of young people realise a business idea.
When established, this new local social enterprise will:
- Employ and train local young people
- Manufacture clothes and record new music
- Own and administer its own fashion label
- Own and run its own building
