tanc has a reputation for getting things done, helping to ensure ideas are turned into action, and being creative and innovative in our work with groups and organisations. Over the last 10 years we have dealt with over 200 inquiries from community groups, voluntary sector organisations and schools. We have supported projects that have been recognised nationally as examples of 'best practice' as well as continuing to provide support over many years to projects that were not as successful in receiving funding or attention. In order to do so we have invested substantial time, energy and resources in developing a first class organisation and team of workers.

13 community building projects have been completed. Of these 5 were new build and 8 involved the refurbishment of existing buildings. 3 new community businesses have been developed to provide a launderette, café and recording studio.
