	Community Consultation tanc has worked with over 20 groups to carry out community consultation on: estate- wide issues and priorities, opinions of young people to existing services and open space/play strategy's. Completed New Cross Residents Association, Nottinghamshire working with the Association to identify whether there was a need for a new community facility. Work included: Community consultation to identify local needs and priorities for action Linking Association with potential partners Action planning Consultation revealed little support for a new community facility and subsequently the association decided to concentrate on making better use of existing facilities and refocus on issues that local residents were most concerned about. On-going Sandy Lane Housing Liason Group, Worksop Nottinghamshire   tanc were contacted with a request to carry out a survey / consultation with residents of the Sandy Lane area to identify local issues and priorities for action. During project assessment it became apparent that the group was preoccupied with Bassetlaw District Council's plans to some of the blocks of flats in their area. tanc were able to give advice to place the group in a stronger position on the Housing Review Working group.
