Many of the projects tanc is involved with have a component of advice as part of the service we have given. Because of this a number of the projects on other pages mention this aspect of our contribution:
Phase 10 Regeneration, Woodrow Tenants Meeting Place, Inspiration After School Club.Community of Christ Church,
Carsic, Mansfield
tanc has been working with this church community group for approximately one year. We have been assisting the group to:
- Establish its core business idea
- Establish the needs and the options available for the new proposed organisation
- Assist with the development of a feasibility study and business plan for their proposed new sports and community facility
- Assist with the interview and selection of an architects' practice to conduct a design feasibility study for the new initiative
Cu-ICT
Cu-ICT is a community ICT training project who approached tanc for advice after they had identified a building for their new premises. tanc support included:
- Signposting to VOSE for advice on the legal implications of buying or renting premises
- Advising the group to continue to monitor and collect information on the need for their project
- Advise on potential sources of funding and requirements of funders for capital projects
