tanc aims to support communities in the most disadvantaged areas of Nottingham City and the County of Nottinghamshire.
We will work with you to;
- get involved in decisions that affect your neighbourhood
- identify local needs and priorities for action
- improve or develop new facilities or services
1. Location
Applications are particularly sought from those groups and organisations in the following areas;
- Nottinghamshire Coalfields including the areas of;
Worksop
Mansfield
Sutton in Ashfield
Kirkby in Ashfield
Dukeries - Newark
Please note that this does not preclude support to ther areas, depending on the assessment of need.
Applications are sought from;
- Resident led initiatives / parterships
- Voluntary Groups
- Tenants and residents Associations
- Community Enterprises
- Ethnic Minority Groups
- Womens Groups
tanc aims to deal with all enquiries as quickly as possible. Below is a list of steps taken.
1. Initial Enquiry - you can fill out our Online Form or phone or write (see our Contact Details) requesting support.
2. Application pack sent out - If you do not use our Online Form you will be sent an application pack. The form asks for details of the group making the request and the project idea.
3. Application form completed and returned to tanc - This only applies to groups not using the Online Form
4. Follow up phone call or extended visit - tanc will acknowledge the receipt of the application and will either call the group or visit the project to clarify details.
5. Assessment - The application will be assessed and taken to our monthly Management Committee meeting for a decision.
6. Decision made - The tanc Management Committee will decide when and for how long we can work with each project.
7. All groups contacted with the decision
8. Agree Brief - tanc will meet with the group to discuss the details of what support tanc can offer and for how long.
